About us

Simply Grapes is a Copenhagen based, but Denmark wide, wine importer and distributor. Started by Danish sommeliers Frederik Kordt Lassen & Aleksander Haugstrup in 2020, and later joined by Australian wine maker Maddy Kostros, the import now represents over 60 wineries, from well-known and allocated appellations, to the agriculture focused lesser-known regions of Europe and Australia.

Focusing on quality over quantity, all our wines are artisanal, made with a considered low-intervention approach in both the vineyard and cellar, they are all honest products representing terroir, the grape varieties and the winemakers, many of whom we now call dear friends.

Simply Grapes now has a Christianshavn retail shop ‘Simply Grapes Butik’, and wine bar/restaurant ‘Isola’ in Østerbro, an Italian joint focusing on hospitality and excellent produce. We also partner with Restaurant Botschaft to represent the best Austrian and German wine and food in Denmark. Coming soon is café Solgaarden – next door to our restaurant Isola on Tåsinge Plads.
